The Making Process

I've learned a lot about didgeridoo after making them over the last several months. The biggest thing I've learned so far is the more I learn the more I find how much I don't know. This is a life-learning process and I've only just scratched the surface of what makes these instruments tick. It's been an interesting journey so far and I'm sure it will get even more so as time goes on. Below are a few photos of the process of making didgeridoo from yucca. Enjoy and if you have any questions at all, just email me.

Thank you!
Pam

Hollowing Out
Hollowing out is done with a simple hand drill, drill bits and extensions, sanding drums and a couple of home made tools for finishing the inside.

Finishing
After the didgeridoo is hollowed out is is then sanded and finished inside and out with an epoxy resin. Pictures of the finishing process will be on their way soon!

And after all is said and done.....
